Game Description:
One of the unofficial laws of video games is that the more
popular a game is (and more awards it wins), the faster that DLC content will
be introduced to support it. Considering the buttload of "Best of
2012" awards that Telltale's The Walking Dead picked up, it was practically
a certainty that a follow-up would come sooner rather than later. And in the
case of The Walking Dead: 400 Days, a new add-on episode coming this July for
$4.99, it needed to arrive before the adventure series' launch of Season Two
later in 2013. At a behind-closed-doors demo of 400 Days, I got my first
glimpse at one of the five stories that will make up this episode.
400 Days requires that you at least have the first episode
of Season One installed in order to play, and though you can use it as a
jumping-on point for the series, Telltale recommends starting with Season One
since the choices you made in that story arc will influence 400 Days's
storyline, just as decisions made in one episode of Season One had
ramifications on future ones. In kind, your choices in 400 Days will have
consequences in Season Two - which means you'll want to play all three on the
same platform and keep you’re save files.
